Seasons & Records

Everything in seasons & records

The whole competitive year lives in Runsmith: seasons that scope your dashboard and rankings, a coach-verified record book, records tied to real courses, and benchmarks — nothing left in a binder.

One season at a time

Cross country, indoor, and outdoor seasons in one place — the active season drives the dashboard, schedule, and rankings, and a season hero tracks exactly where you stand. When it ends, close it; past seasons keep their history.

The active season card with its progress bar, the Close season action, and Create season.

The record book, three views

Top 10s ranks each event's best marks, All Time keeps the full history, and Pending holds submissions waiting for your review — approve, reject, or clear them, so the record book stays coach-verified.

Log records by hand — or in bulk

Add Record enters one mark: event, gender, athlete, time, and year. Multiple Records opens bulk entry for a whole sheet, so an entire historical record book comes in as one table instead of one entry at a time.

Adding a single record: event, gender, athlete, time, and year.

The complete list

  1. 01

    Season management

Create cross country, indoor, and outdoor seasons — names are auto-suggested, and overlapping dates are caught before you save.

  2. 02

    Active season progress

A season hero tracks exactly where you stand — "Day 34 of 90, 56 days remaining" — with per-sport accents.

  3. 03

    Every season in one place

Active and past seasons grouped on one page, each with its category and full date range.

  4. 04

    School records

Top 10s per event, all-time records, and a pending-approval queue that keeps the record book coach-verified.

  5. 05

    Bulk record upload

Enter an entire historical record book in one table-based flow instead of one entry at a time.

  6. 06

    Course records

Every course keeps its own Top 10 and team PR — records tied to the actual course, not just the distance.

  7. 07

    Benchmarks

Create named benchmarks, compare every activity recorded against them, and share deep links to a specific comparison.
